Check Out this Classic of the week!

'The Butterfly Effect' is one of the famous classic movies people recommend. The movie was released in 2004, but still beloved by many viewers around the world as it teaches us a lesson at the end and also gives us surprise with few different endings.
I strongly recommend 'The Butterfly Effect' ! there are DVDs out there you can purchase so please Enjoy :)

Evan Treborn grows up with a single working mother and his friends Lenny, Kayleigh and Tommy. He suffered from black outs which led to psychological trauma, and lost part of his memories. After he moved to another place, his problem with blackout, got better eventually, but one day in college, he finds his old journal and suddenly it flashes him back to past.

Evan finds out that he can make changes to his choices he made in the past and tries to put things back to "normal". Whenever he tried to change the future, someone had to be in a serious situation, and whenever he tried to save the person, made other people to be in danger. He realises that there's always an impact on the changes he made, no matter what decision he makes. Finally he makes a decision to eliminate the 'curse'.

When Evan couldn't remember the past, it wasn't lost but did not happened to him yet, because the future Evan is experiencing him-self in the past while going back and forth. The director did a great story-telling with such complex set-up. Past and the future links together like a jigsaw puzzle with sorted memories in the diary. Evan wanted to make everyone happy, satisfied and equally. When he changed the future to bring Kelly back to live, it killed Tommy, when he went back to save Tommy, he became a disabled person and his mother suffered from cancer. So he finally makes a decision to go back and kills him-self when he is a fetus.

There are always side effects when the Mother Nature breaks.  In the movie, it tells Evan's mother went through abortion two times so we can guess that his siblings went through all the things just like Evan, and made the same decision he made. When Evan went to see his father who was hospitalized in psychiatric hospital, his father tries to kill him by chocking his neck.
No Butterfly, No Butterfly effect.
